Malta WordPress (contact@maltawordpress.com) is a small, independent web design and development business. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Contact and order forms
When you send our contact form or an order request, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the service you are interested in and your message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if we work together, to deliver the services you order: websites, hosting, domains, email or SEO content. We do not use it for marketing, and we never sell it. The providers we use to run this site only process it on our behalf. We keep enquiries for 2 years and client records for as long as the law requires, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to any legal or contractual retention requirements.
Domain orders
When you order a domain, we pass the owner details you give us to our domain registrar and the domain registry. They need them to register the domain in your name. We do not use these details for anything else.
Cookies
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and nothing on this site tracks you across other websites.
To stop spam, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. When you open the contact page, Cloudflare checks your browser, including your IP address, to tell people apart from bots. Cloudflare uses this information only for that check, not for advertising. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice.
Who we share data with
We use standard hosting and website software to run this site and process enquiries. These providers only handle your data as needed to keep the site running. We do not sell your data to advertisers or any other third party.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy. You can also ask us to correct or delete it, limit how we use it or object to how we use it. If you are unhappy with our reply, you can complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
